Shabbes in Upper Remety - Niggunim and Zemiros from the Hollender family, led by Hankus Netsky Many at Temple Beth Israel and beyond have heard Mr. Morris Hollender sing niggunim (wordless melodies) and zemiros (songs) over the years.
For this special dinner, Hankus Netsky, will teach and lead us in these melodies.
The meal will also incorporate the farm food traditions that the Hollenders grew up with and have maintained over the years.
A טיש (literally 'table'), refers to a gathering or meal at a 'table,' with communal singing and divrei torah or stories.
