The dates are scheduled for March 13, 14, 15, and 16 including 2 shows on the 15th (both at 2:00pm and 7:00pm).
The House of Blues will be the visiting venue, which will likely be at its 2,425 person capacity for these much-anticipated concerts.
The Dropkick Murphys originated out of Quincy, MA, founding the band in 1996.
Quickly making a name for themselves, the band played locally in Boston for the first few years before making their first major hit single in 2004 titled 'Tessie'.
Prior to 'Tessie' the band made a number of studio albums, but Tessie is the single that made the grade.
It was used in 'Fever Pitch', a major motion picture and was included in the soundtrack of the video game MVP Baseball 2005.
Up to now, the group has had a total of eight studio albums since their first one came out in 1998, with the last one being released earlier this year titled 'Signed and Sealed in Blood'.
The current members of the band are Ken Casey who is the lead singer and plays bass, Matt Kelly who sings and plays the drum and bodhran, Al Barr also as lead singer, James Lynch singing and playing guitar, Tim Brennan sings and plays multiple instruments: mandolin, lead guitar, keyboard, guitar, and accordion.
Other members are Josh 'Scruffy' Wallace who plays the bagpipes and the tin whistle and Jeff DaRosa who is multi-talented and plays the banjo, guitar, mandolin, bouzouki, keyboard, accordion, piano, harmonica and whistle and also sings.
