Longy Faculty Artist Recital – Ashima Scripp, cello
Longy School of Music's new faculty cellist Ashima Scripp will perform with pianist Natasha Mah in a program featuring Claude Debussy's Sonata in D Minor for violin, cello and piano, Gaspar Cassado's Requiebros, Manuel de Falla's Suite Populaire Espagnole, Astor Piazzolla's Le Grand Tango, and other works celebrating the melodic beauty and rhythmic excitement of music from Spain, France, and Latin America.
