Brookline Music School (BMS) presents Dance Music of Hungary with BMS Faculty Jessica Klett, violin and piano, Lisa Bosley, kontra and Linda Ugelow bass.
The free concert will take place in Brookline Music School’s Bakalar Recital Hall on Sunday, March 16 at 4:00pm.
The program will feature traditional Hungarian village dance music, as well as works by Bartok and Brahms.
Dance Music of Hungary is the fifth concert in the Brookline Music School’s 2013-2014 Faculty Artist Series.
The series will finish with a Sunday concert on May 11 at 4:00pm with Journey Through Song - A Recital of Art Song & Vocal Chamber Music with BMS Faculty members Carola Emrich-Fisher, mezzo-soprano, Paul Jacobs, piano, Philip Rush, viola and Amy Poliakoff, flute, plus special guests from Libella Quartet on May 11.
Meet the Artist Receptions will immediately follow each concert.
