The Oriana Consort returns to First Lutheran Church with a program of madrigals from 16th- and 17th-century Italy and England, English part-songs, and the East Coast première of Abbie Betinis’s “The Waking”, and featuring “The Unicorn, the Gorgon, and the Manticore: A Madrigal Fable” — Gian Carlo Menotti’s 1956 sendup of hypocrisy, sham, and social conformity.
