Romantic and Contemporary music from France, Germany, and America will be featured in this moving performance.
The concert will present works by Schumann, Faure, Poulenc, Hindemith, Hovhaness, and Martinu, plus the world premiere of music by Diane Goolkasian Rahbee.
Solo Piano and Chamber Music from Romantic to Contemporary is the third concert in the Brookline Music School’s 2014-2015 Faculty Artist Series.
The series will continue with Sunday concerts at 4:00pm on March 15 with Darkness and Light - An Afternoon of Solo Piano with faculty Valerie Ross, piano; and April 12 with Mythos: Mythology in Music for Flute and Piano with faculty Elizabeth Chladil, piano and guest artist Weronika Balewski, flute.
