Donald Palma, a founding member of New York's Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, coaches the conductorless NEC Chamber Orchestra--the ultimate listener's ensemble. Tonight's concert features the winner of the Haydn cello concerto competition, Jacqueline Choi, in a performance of the composer's Concerto for Cello in D Major.

Tonight's concert also features Stravinsky's Concerto in D for string orchestra, and Dvorak's Serenade for strings in E Major, Op. 22, a piece that displays the influence of Czech and American folk music.
