The New England Light Opera presents Gershwin favorites at the Congregational Church of Topsfield, on the common in Topsfield Center. Fascinatin' Rhythm, The Man I Love, Summertime, I Got Rhythm, Someone to Watch Over Me, They Can't Take That Away From Me...the list of standards in the Great American Songbook by George Gershwin and his brother Ira seems endless. NELO is proud to conclude our 5th season with a revue featuring the music of America's greatest songwriter. Constructed with the blessing of the Gershwin estate, this new revue (directed by Michael Byrne) will feature a hit parade of great songs as well some forgotten gems. If you enjoyed our Cole Porter, Richard Rodgers, and Jerome Kern shows, you are sure to love this new revue!
