The Waltham Public Library is thrilled to announce the premiere performance of a musical composition commissioned by The Friends of the Waltham Public Library, in partnership with the Waltham Symphony Orchestra, in honor of the 150th Anniversary of the Waltham Public Library, Sunday, Oct. fourth at 3 p.m., at the Kennedy Middle School.
Waltham native, Dianne Goolkasain Rahbee composed an original piece to be performed by the Waltham Symphony Orchestra, designed to be a reflection of Waltham’s industrial past.
This event is intended for families or groups of all ages and is a free and easy way to expose children to classical music.
Grandparents, parents, and even toddlers will enjoy the melodic rhythms and the opportunity to expand their imagination.
