We’re excited to have Hathor Winds is joining us for our third Groupmuse event.
Described as “the character quintet,” Hathor Winds embodies versatility and style.
Hathor, an Egyptian goddess displaying multiple personalities, was said to be able to invoke any emotion on a whim.
That sentiment holds especially true to this dynamic group of young artists.
Each member’s individual style and personality adds a new dimension to what has become the Hathor sound.
Committed to widespread exposure to chamber music, Hathor plays everything from quintet standards to their own arrangements and commissioned works, from living rooms to recital halls, and everywhere in between.
Hathor Winds is made up of Ali Parramore (flute), Alicia Maloney (oboe), Nick Brown (clarinet), Hillary Erb (bassoon), and Nick Auer (horn).
The group studies under the tutelage of New England Conservatory faculty member John Heiss, along with musicians of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
Please note that you must RSVP via the Groupmuse website.
