Rocket from the Tombs (or RFTT) was a mid-'70s Cleveland band known for their punk anthems: 'Ain't It Fun,' 'Sonic Reducer,' 'Final Solution,' 'So Cold,' 'What Love Is,' '30 Seconds Over Tokyo,' and 'Amphetamine.' In 1975, they split into two punk bands: Pere Ubu and the Dead Boys.
Over the next 25 years, through underground bootlegs, RFTT gained legendary international status.
In 2003, the short-lived band was resurrected as a mere suggestion from one of the band members.
The result was a studio produced album Barfly in 2011, in which they deliver an unrestricted and undated sound.
On November 13th, RFTT released their 4th album Black Record under Fire Records.
