Matt Heaton & the Outside Toys will be performing a CD release concert for Matt's new album, 'Toddlerbilly Riot!' at Club Passim. Matt is a favorite of the sing-along circuit of the greater Boston area, entertaining children and (crucially) parents.Matt's new album, “Toddlerbilly Riot!” is a collection of high energy, irreverent, music for kids and those who love them. With a rockabilly feel and a slew of special guests (on drums, bass, fiddle and kazoo) and song topics ranging from dancing animals to good bathing habits, “Toddlerbilly Riot” is the perfect follow up to “Happy You Made It.”
The songs on the album are all favorites at Matt’s sing alongs and concerts, and have been “kid tested” for fun. Listeners young & old alike will groove to the “Wombat Dance,” sway to “Waltzing with Dinosaurs,” and rock out to “Don’t Drink the Water (Your Butt’s Been In.)” A handful of classic covers round out the collection.
