Come sing songs of justice and peace at the Pete Seeger Songfest with Jim Scott! All are welcome; kids under 12 are free and refreshments will be served.

The acclaimed singer and songwriter will lead a celebration of the songs of activist and environmentalist Pete Seeger at 7pm Saturday, April 2. “Where Have All the Flowers Gone,” “If I Had A Hammer,” and “Turn, Turn, Turn” are a few of the songs that will resonate at the Songfest.

Everyone is invited to come sing! Tickets are $18; children under twelve are free.

Proceeds will support the  host church's partner relationship with the Unitarian Church in the Transylvanian region of Romania and provide scholarships and assistance with an international youth camp.

Jim Scott’s guitar skill and infectious manner brought Pete to call him “some kind of magician.” He is a prolific composer in his own right and former guitarist with the Paul Winter Consort.

Jim created the “Earth and Spirit Songbook,”  a collection of over 100 songs of earth and peace by many contemporary composers.

Kids under 12 are free.
