Join Elizabeth Chladil (piano) and guest Weronika Balewski (flute) for a concert featuring Robert Schumann’s Three Romances, the duo’s transcription of Claude Debussy’s Violin Sonata, Bohuslav Martinu’s Sonata for Flute and Piano, and David Dzubay’s “Footprints.” Marvento Duo explores musical translations in the flute and piano repertoire: text to melody, movement to sound, violin to flute, birdsong to sonata.
