With a whopping 15 Boston Music Awards under his belt, Paul has made a significant mark on the modern history of folk music.

Previous chief architect of what is now the Boston school of songwriting, his music is urbane, literate folk-pop that ignited the ‘90’s folk revival.

Ellis' 19th album, 'Chasing Beauty,' was recorded in Atlanta, Charlottesville, and Boston.

Kristian Bush of the Grammy-award winning duo, Sugarland, co-produced the album with his brother, Brandon Bush, of the band Train.

Ellis bridges the gulf between a contemporary folk sound and the Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger tradition.
