The annual Yankee Homecoming Blues n’ Brews Cruise will feature a powerful musical performance as well as local craft beer from the Newburyport Brewing Company.
Duke is best known for his unique ability to command a stage and captivate his audiences with his gifted ability to play the blues.
He has won numerous awards for live performance and recorded music including multiple Blues Music Awards (formerly the W.C.
Handy Awards), a 2016 nomination for “Acoustic Blues Album of the Year” also in the top 50 best blues albums of 2015 by Living Blues Magazine, as well as being nominated for several Grammy Awards.
Duke has worked with many musicians such as Tom Waits, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Bob Dylan, Ruth Brown, Jay McShann, Pinetop Perkins, Kim Wilson, Jimmy Witherspoon, Rosco Gordon, Maria Muldaur and many more.

Laite on lead and slide guitar.
The Newburyport BluesCruise continues to support and promote The Shirley Lewis “Living the Blues” Foundation.
A cash bar and snacks are available and the event is accessible to the physically challenged with assistance provided by staff.
This sunset cruise departs at 7:00 pm.
Tickets are $38.ºº in advance and $42.ºº on the day of the event and capacity of the boat is limited.
