This year’s event will feature the Danny Frantina Brass Ensemble, as well as holiday songs by Rockport High School’s Madrigal Singers.Danny Fratina Brass EnsembleDanny Fratina is a composer, arranger, transcriptionist, trumpet player, and clinician.
He has been writing and arranging music for big bands and orchestras full time for nearly ten years, with recent work for the Boston Pops, the Beantown Swing Orchestra, John Stevens, Longy School of Music, the Plymouth Symphony, the United Nations in Boston, and independent bands across the U.S., Canada, England, Germany, Sweden, Russia, Australia, and New Zealand.
He was a finalist in the ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Awards three times.
