Jack studied music at Wesleyan University.
Katie did not officially study music, though she has been singing and playing piano since a very young age.
Jack and Katie are close friends and have a solid partnership.
They love working together because they each bring different influences and ideas to the music.
While Jack is influenced by musicians such as Coldplay, Ben Howard, John Mayer, and Ben Gibbard, Katie finds herself drawn to The National, Angel Olsen, and Regina Specktor.
When they are not performing together, you can find them writing new material.
They make music to help make sense of this world and communicate their feelings in a way that feels real.
