19 at 1:30 p.m. Although part of the Sunday Concert Series, this special concert will actually take place on Saturday.
The Boston Children’s Chorus aims to use music to unite Boston’s diverse communities, inspire social change, and transcend social barriers.
Through performing, members learn discipline, leadership skills, and how to represent the city of Boston in harmony.
For the 2016/2017 season, there are over 500 singers from over 110 Greater Boston zip codes.
For the series, the Men’s Ensemble will perform a unique, challenging, and uplifting concert under the direction of the Chorus’s Artistic Director Anthony Trecek-King.
Often a sell-out event, the chorus will take the stage on Saturday, November 19 at 3:00 p.m., in the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum’s Calderwood Hall, located at 25 Evans Way, Boston, Mass.
Tickets are required, which may be purchased in advance or at the door, and include Museum admission.
Admission is $27 for adults; $24 for seniors, $17 for students with valid IDs; and youth age 7 and under are not admitted.
