This festival honors the memory of pianist, educator, and mentor Mildred Freiberg, a co-founder of Powers Music School, and has become a tradition for local piano students in grades K-12.
Concerts will be held on both days at Payson Park Church, 365 Belmont Street, Belmont, with concert times at 1:30, 3:00, 4:30, 6:00, and 7:30 p.m. The festival is free to attend, however, any students wishing to participate should fill out an application (available at www.powersmusic.org/piano_festival) and pay their $20 application fee.
