Besides being seen as the 'legitimate Moeller technique successor' of Jim Chapin, Hessler is mostly known for his open-handed approach to drum set playing and has performed at numerous drum events across the globe, sharing the stage with players like Dom Famularo, Alex Acuna, Walfredo Reyes Jr., JoJo Mayer, and Luis Conte, to name a few.
