Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band with a performance re-creation of the album at the historic Coolidge Corner Theater on Sunday, August 6 at 10:30am.
About Beatles Summer Project:
Now in its fourth season, the Beatles Summer Project, brings together local musicians of all ages and skills to learn, practice, rehearse and perform a featured Beatles album from start to finish.
This season pays homage to the legendary and iconic Sgt.
Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, which was released 50 years ago on June 1, 1967.
Directed by Brookline Music School’s Jazz/Rock Ensemble Coordinator John Purcell, this program gives vocalists and instrumentalists of all types the opportunity to celebrate The Beatles by learning and reimagining their music.
