Fresh off his recent critically acclaimed album 'Television' (Cantaloupe) Florent brings a set of new compositions for voice, electronics and video.
Sharing the bill is Boston based, Grammy Award winning cellist Mike Block.
Hailed as the “ideal musician of the 21st-Century” by Yo-Yo-Ma, Block has toured the world with the Silk Road Ensemble all the while developing his own idiosyncratic approach to synthesizing a broad range of styles.
For Times Two he offers a rare solo appearance, sharing new material that will be sure to surprise and delight.
Times Two is a concert series aiming to provide a common space where musicians from different backgrounds come together to share work and ideas.
Whether it be from different places, genres, or styles, each Times Two event pairs musicians with distinct voices in a laid back, accessible context.
