Why: This summer, the Old State House will come to life with live performances of 18th century music. This series of three concerts, presented by The Bostonian Society in partnership with Newton Baroque, will offer music that was popular in Boston and may have been played in the Old State House during the colonial period. Newton Baroque director Andrus Madsen will provide commentary throughout the concerts to place the music in historical context.
