About The Big Trouble:
The Big Trouble is an alternative percussion and vocals project founded by Drew Worden and Ivan Trevino.
In 2016, Worden and Trevino were brainstorming collaboration ideas when they stumbled upon the concept of ‘songwriting drummers.’
The duo were awarded a Live Arts Boston grant through The Boston Foundation to help launch The Big Trouble.
With a newly sparked passion and the financial help they needed to get the project off the ground, Worden and Trevino spent the year writing, workshopping, and recording, and the music for their debut EP.
They recruited lead vocalist Madeleine McQueen to join the project, and what they initially thought was a long shot, turned into five-song collection of alternative rock music written for the percussion, drums, and vox.
The Big Trouble is made possible in part by a generous grant from The Boston Foundation and with help from sponsor organization, Kadence Arts.
