After a successful launch of the 'Jazz in The Sanctuary - South Shore' concert series in 2017, this concert series has been an annual event at Messiah Baptist Church, 80 Legion Parkway, Brockton MA.
The opening concert is 2020 is planned for Friday, February 21, 7:30 PM.
This exciting evening of world-class music will feature internationally acclaimed Master Drummer/Percussionist Yoron Israel , featuring vocalist Gabrielle Goodman.
Yoron will be featuring works from his new recording, Count It All Joy. This promises to be another great addition of world class music with a few special surprises targeted towards the next generation of jazz musicians. Eric Jackson, The Voice of WGBH, Jazz Radio, Boston, will be on hand as host.
The First 20 guests who purchase tickets and/or confirm sponsorship will receive a free autographed copy of Yoron Israel's latest CD 'This Moment, Live in Boston'
Tickets:$15 adults, $5 students (under 21)
This concert series is made possible through support from the Brockton Cultural Council and sponsoring partners.
Become a 'Sponsoring Partner' at the following levels: Virtuoso - $400, Fortissimo - $300, Forte - $200, Partner - $125.
'Contributor' by donating any amount, above $25.
All 'Sponsoring Partners' and 'Contributors' are entitled to reserved seating at all 'Jazz in the Sanctuary - South Shore' concerts.
