Friday, July 13th - The Hounds
Classic rock guitar riffs and catchy hooks aside, this power trio from Boston focuses on funky rhythms, infectious, deep grooves, and soaring, free improvisations. When these three musicians put their heads down and dig in, you will be inclined to dance and spin under the summer sky.

Friday, July 20th - Dick Kaplan & The Legendary Moonlite Surfers
Enjoy their brand of Surf rock, blues and R & B. Featured on lead vocals and guitar is EJ Ouellette and Phyllis Fallon, Boston's swingingest lady of song! The seven-piece ensemble also includes Johnny Battis on sax, bassist Bobby Bowl, Dick Kaplan on trumpet and Jeff Philcrantz on percussion.
Friday, July 27th - Sargent John
A local 4-piece band playing contemporary music by bands like Pearl Jam and Stone Temple Pilots.
Directly following the Waterfront concert, come gather among friends, family, community and enjoy the band Among Criminals in Market Square. More about the event at www.comity.org.
Friday, August 10th - The Brew
The Brew is an energetic quartet hailing from Massachusetts' North Shore and appeal to rock, funk, jam, jazz, reggae, and pop enthusiasts alike.
About Waterfront Park
This great free concert will be staged in Waterfront Park, right in the heart of Historic Downtown Newburyport.
Waterfront Park is a Private Park maintained by the Waterfront Trust. Attendees are asked to please be respectful of the park. Take care to preserve the plantings, grass and trees that make Waterfront Park such a jewel in the downtown.
You may bring a blanket or a chair to enjoy the show. Please bring chairs that are appropriate for a grassy area.
