The entertainers will include ZUMIX Divercity Band, an eight-piece group consisting of local Boston teens performing top 40 music, East Boston dance troop Skittles featuring kids ages 7 to 15, local Latin hip hop 574, and the Dangerous Styles break dancers.
The two main acts will be Zullo, a hip hop group with a combination of many musical styles, and eight-piece Latin powerhouse Impacto Latino
.
Zullo’s members have played in acoustic, pop, rock (including progressive and alternative), punk, jazz, blues, funk, and hip hop groups. This mixture comes through in the Zullo sound rich with infectious grooves, melodic guitar lines, powerful beats, and provocative vocals. With energetic performances and a fan base that grows with every performance, Zullo has something for everyone.
Impacto Latino evokes the sound of Central America and Mexico along with an emphasis on the Salvadoran roots of founder Mario Cruz. The group evokes the most romantic era of Latin music with the classic sounds of Baladas y la Cumbia performed by a seasoned lineup of professionals including musical director Isaias Cruz, vocalists Juan Hernandez and Victor Portillos, and musicians Jeremias Cruz, Antonio Cruz, Angel Cuellar, and Francisco Savala.
