By presenting exceptional music performances in significant settings, the Orchestra fosters a broad appreciation of classical music while bringing together the area’s diverse communities. Five years ago, the Orchestra began the Landmarks Concerts for Children to foster the appreciation of classical music in young audiences, and to sponsor the creation of new classical works specifically developed for children.
