Now, well into his fifth decade as a folk performer and songwriter, Bill Staines has gained an international reputation as a gifted songwriter and performer.

For more than forty years, Bill has traveled back and forth across North America, singing his songs and delighting audiences at festivals, colleges, concerts, clubs, and coffeehouses.

Bill quickly became a popular performer in the Boston area.

From the time in 1971 when a reviewer from the Boston Phoenix stated that he was 'simply Boston's best performer', Bill has continually appeared on folk music radio listener polls as one of the top all time favorite folk artists.

Gore Place is located at 52 Gore Street in Waltham, Massachusetts just off Route 20. From I-90 (Mass Pike) take exit 17 to Watertown Square. Turn left onto Route 20 (Main Street). Travel 1~1/4 miles to Gore Street. From Route 128/I-95 exit 26 to Route 20 east (Main Street) 3~1/2 miles to Gore Street.
