Our intention (kavanah) with The Lord’s Prayer Experience is to connect in a deep way with each other and all who join us in singing these sacred words in English and in Hebrew — as originally recorded in the Hebrew Book of Mathew.
We dedicate this musical offering to bringing Jews, Christians and people of all faiths together to experience our common roots and our bond to the nameless One while respecting and honoring each other’s path.
As we pray the music and sing the prayer, we affirm the power of LOVE can make the world a better place for all human beings — and for all life on earth.
All are welcome to join us on Sunday, October 28th at 5:00 PM, whatever your faith tradition, or even if you don’t have one.
A $10 donation is suggested for this experience.
The Lord’s Prayer Experience will be followed by a community pot-luck finger-foods meal to which all are invited.
Though we have different spiritual and culinary tastes, when we break bread together we discover we are one in wanting to nourish our bodies and souls.
There will be open rehearsals Tuesday, October 16 and Wednesday, October 24 at 7:30 PM for anyone who would like to join the Interfaith Chorale who will help lead the entire congregation in participatory singing during The Lord’s Prayer Experience on Oct.
