In addition to three towering works from the repertoire, she plays Bernstein's early Sonata, written while he was a student at the Curtis Institute in Philadelphia, but which premiered nearby in Cambridge with his Harvard classmate (and founder of the Juilliard Quartet), Raphael Hillyer.
