Violist Marcus Thompson is one of Boston’s most treasured musicians and has had a distinguished career as a soloist, chamber musician, artistic director of the Boston Chamber Music Society, and longtime professor at MIT and New England Conservatory.

He is joined by another jewel of the Boston area, pianist Judith Gordon, in a program which will include a new work by John Harbison, as well as works by Bach and Schumann.
