On Friday, April 8 from 6–8 pm, the MFA hosts an evening of performances highlighting the Museum's musical instruments collection.
Internationally celebrated musical artists have chosen galleries, artworks or, in many cases, collection instruments that resonate with their craft, spinning out a blend of musical and visual art unlike any other.
Visitors are invited to take advantage of reduced general admission ($5, available on-site the day of starting at 5 pm), wander the galleries and discover music from all over the world.
Performances take place in galleries relating to the eras and cultures of the instruments, creating an immersive experience you don’t want to miss.
