Conductor Brendan J. Kenney will lead the Pops in familiar, traditional American tunes, as well as compositions inspired by the beauty of the United States.
Program highlights include chamber arrangements of popular favorites such as The Star-Spangled Banner, Sousa’s Stars and Stripes Forever, and excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, as well as pieces that pay tribute to United States history and composers such as Balmages’s Point Lookout (A fantasy on civil war songs).
This performance will take place under a tent on the ocean-facing lawn and will include an intermission. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
The first two rows of seating are offered as Premier Seating. There are no assigned seats. Doors open at 6:30pm. Reservations required, available seating is limited.
*This ticket grants you access to the Firebird Pops Orchestra performance which will be held outside on the ocean facing lawn as well as access to the Museum Shop. At the time of this event, the Museum will be closed to tours.
If concert ticket holders wish tour Hammond Castle Museum on the day of their ticketed performance, Self-Guided Tour tickets may be purchased in the Museum Shop at a 20% discount. Proof of purchase of the Sea to Shining Sea performance will be required. All proceeds from this program support additional programs and ongoing Museum restorations.
