On August 4th, Alex Minasian, a New York-based pianist and his band will pay tribute to the legends of jazz music, such as Charlie Parker and Thelonious Monk, as well as draw from the music of the Great American Songbook.
For the grand finale on August 11th, Harshitha Krishnan, performing and recording artist, educator and social justice advocate of Indian origin from Lagos, Nigeria, will create a one-of-a-kind musical experience that takes listeners on a journey of unfiltered emotions, exploring sounds and textures from around the world.
The concert series, presented by NEMPAC, is a collaboration with the City of Boston Mayor's Office of Special Events and the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway Conservancy with support from this year’s headlining sponsors Canopy Boston Downtown and Rose Town Kitchen & Bar.
