The Ruta Beggars have been featured on the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Showcase, Steve Martin’s Unreal Bluegrass, Brian O'Donovan's A Celtic Sojourn and the main stages of Joe Val, Grey Fox, Thomas Point, and Ossipee Bluegrass Festivals.
Brought together by their passion for bluegrass, The Ruta Beggars are Micah Nicol (guitar), Sofia Chiarandini (fiddle), Ariel Wyner (mandolin), Trevin Nelson (banjo), and Noah Harrington (bass) who met while studying at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in the American Roots Program.
Head to the Roots has evolved into its mightiest form yet.
Anthony Siciliano leads this roots rock outfit with feel-good word play and thunderous didgeridoo sound, while members Chris Palace (drums), Jordan Rabinowitz (bass), and Drew Rosenberg (keys) bring jungle-boogie groove and cerebral synth power to this Rochester, NY band.
Amidst their career, they have shared the stage with national bands Mikaela Davis, Ripe, X Ambassadors, The Nude Party, and many musicians in the Rochester scene.
With great potential on the horizon, this group is one to keep in the queue.
