Award winning guitarist Chris Hersch (Girls Guns & Glory, Sarah Borges & The Broken Singles, Say Darling, Gracie Curran & The High Falutin' Band, Monica Rizzio) leads this quartet of accomplished musicians, improvising and singing their way through an eclectic set that will please both the dancer and music aficionado.
Drawing on a unique repertoire often overlooked in the American Songbook, The MoonRaiders pivot between Bob Wills, Chuck Berry, Dave Dudley, Commander Cody, and Original music, all in one show.
Their debut album 'Space Lasso' came out in the Fall of 2019 and features six originals and three standards re-arranged by Chris Hersch.
'...the MoonRaiders, is an instrumental twang type of project – an amalgamation of country, jazz, rock, and, well, space.
