Our Klezmer Jam hosts, Rebecca Mac & Mattias Kaufmann have returned from their tour in Eastern-Europe, so let's pick up the jam session where we left off!
Rebecca & Mattias are members of Mamaliga, a Boston based Klezmer ensemble.
Read more about Mamaliga.
All instruments, & levels of experience are welcome to join!
As usual, we'll start the evening with a slow jam, followed by a fast jam.
Come to one or both!
5:30 - 6:30 PM – Slow Jam
We'll learn a tune together, slowly by ear.
If you don't know a lot of tunes, or you're looking to add to your repertoire, this is a great opportunity for the Klez-pros and amateurs alike to learn something new!
7:00 - 9:00 PM – Fast Jam
Come to dance, listen, connect with community, & meet new friends.
Musicians are encouraged to join the band & play along!
Followed by food, drinks & fun!
