Fueled by the raw sounds of Link Wray, early Chicago Blues greats and British guitar legends Beck, Clapton and Page, the band created a raw edgy song style uniquely their own.
The band debuted in March of 1976 at the legendary nightclub “The Rat” in Boston.
They released their first of two singles for Rat Records that included the hit song “Loretta” which became one of the city’s most endearing rock and roll anthems.
Ric Ocasek produced a demo for the band and they were signed by Elektra Records in 1980.
The band was one of the more popular rock & roll bands in the Northeast, opening for numerous National Acts and eventually headlining at venues throughout the United States and Europe.
Their new album Monsters + Angels will be released in November of 2022.
The current band is Steve Cataldo on Lead guitar and lead vocals, Brad Hallen on Bass, back-up vocals, Adam Sherman on Rhythm guitar, back-up vocals and David McLean on Drums.
Carissa Johnson - Carissa Johnson is known for her straight-forward lyrics, driving melodies, and her band’s inimitable live energy.
From the start Johnson has been supported sonically by hard-grooving drums, growling bass lines, and resonant guitar melodies.
The singer and her band won Boston's legendary Rock and Roll Rumble (previous winners include 'Til Tuesday and The Dresden Dolls) in 2017 and took home ‘New Act of the Year’ at Boston’s 30th Annual Music Awards.
Her music has been featured in SPIN Magazine, the Boston Globe, the Boston Herald, Under the Radar Magazine, Alternative Press, and more.
Johnson has toured the country extensively, playing over 330 shows over the course of ten national tours between 2017 and 2020.
She has opened up for national acts such as TORRES, Sarah Jaffe, Toth, Dorothy, Damone, Freezepop, & The Damnwells.
Johnson is currently promoting her latest full-length album Blue Hour, out on A Diamond Heart Production (Nov. 2021).
