This group of life-long friends have been playing music together since childhood, and that chemistry shines through every time they step on stage.
Whether they’re performing original tunes or putting their signature spin on iconic classics, they’re sure to put on a high-energy show.
Barefoot Young - Since forming nearly 15 years ago as kids, Ian, Derek, and Ben have played hundreds of shows together throughout the Northeast while undergoing several name and stylistic changes ranging from Nu-Metal to Funk rock before growing into the indie rock outfit the band is known for today.
Over the past three years Barefoot Young has brought itself to the forefront of Boston music by expanding its live performances and studio sounds through the three late additions to the band - Joey keyz and jonny tex.
In 2021 Barefoot Young released their debut LP produced by Paul Q.
Koldiere (Pixies, Radiohead, Portugal.The Man) that clarified the band’s known and modern sound - a 20th century inspired indie rock ensemble driven by hooky guitar leads and dancy synths lines under infectious vocals melodies.
Self-producing their next EP, the band has begun recording new singles and music videos due late 2022/into 2023.
