While the trio will be playing unexplored klezmer rooted in traditional European klezmer sounds, they will also incorporate the best in Brazilian, contemporary, and jazz styles.
There are two sources for this klezmer fest!
Music from the Titunshnayder Recordings, a set of recordings featuring a klezmer clarinetist called Titunshnayder.
While first recorded in Odessa in 1912, these were rediscovered in 2015.
The other source for this concert originates with the 1908 compositions of Maestro Ernst Honigsberg, a prominent klezmer and tango musician, conductor, and composer from the region known as Bukovina — and rediscovered in the Honigsberg archives in São Paulo, Brazil.
Followed by light snack & an open top shelf bar!
