THE BAMBOO STEAMERS - Spawned in the cellars, garages and clubs of Western MA’s Pioneer Valley, the Bamboo Steamers have been playing high energy roots rock and roll for several decades.
The band recently re-released their acclaimed debut album, The Many Love Making Sounds of the Bamboo Steamers, and are currently playing is support of their most recent EP, Six Minutes to Everything.
The Daily Hampshire Gazette said of the group, “their original music is timeless, combining surf/spy instrumentals (a la The Ventures, Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet, Los Straitjackets) and vocal songs that bounce with a spry, countrified gait.”
THE BEIGE play folk, avant-folk, anti-folk, pro-folk, proto-folk, folk-a-delia, rock, pop & blues.
The duo, featuring brothers Drew and Jamie Dunphy, played extensively around New York and Boston in the mid/late 90s.
They reunited in 2022 for a series of concerts and will soon be releasing a brand new six-song EP.
The band will remastering and re-releasing their debut album, Six Foot Beard of Bees, sometime in 2023.
