ARIEL STRASSER is a singer, songwriter and pianist based in Boston, Massachusetts.

She brings her native Minnesotan charm to all her live performances, sharing stories, laughs and general quirkiness with her audiences.

2019 brought two New England Music Award nominations including one for “Songwriter of the Year” and one for “Album of the year” for her newest release “Motivation”.

She is a graduate of the Boston Conservatory at Berklee’s Musical Theater program.

During her time at the Conservatory, she helped pilot the Songwriting Emphasis program within the Theater Department, helping to develop the curriculum that still exists today.

Strasser has performed in festivals around Greater New England including The Boston Arts Festival, The Town & the City Festival and more.

She has toured with and opened for national artists such as Chris Trapper (of the Push Stars), Lucy Wainwright Roche, Antigone Rising, and Brooke Annibale.

She lives with her guitarist husband, Ken Budka, and two fluffy cats, Bertie and Huey.

This performance will include a full band featuring Ken Budka on guitar, Paul Ortolano on bass, & Steve Clements on drums.

JODI HEIGHTS - Hailing from the city of Boston, Alternative Pop artist Jodi Heights stands out in the sea of singer-songwriters with her classically honed technique and her poetic prowess.

She holds multiple degrees in music, including a Master of Music from the New England Conservatory.

In 2022, Jodi released the singles 'White Knight', 'Aurora' (her first original on Celtic harp), and 'Fine Wine' (followed by her debut music video).

She also released a 3-song EP, Triptych, which focused on urgent concerns in our modern world: climate change (“The Iceberg”, followed by her second music video), the pandemic (“The Storm”), and the growing wealth gap (“The Myth”).

Jodi's debut album, One Year Wiser, was recorded with engineer Mike Davidson at Plaid Dog Recording.
