Born in Co Tipperary Ireland, Aoife Clancy – daughter of the Bobby Clancy of the Clancy Brothers – first met Eddie Dillon in 1999 in Ireland, while he was visiting.
In the same year, Aoife was invited to the United States for a two-week tour, with every intention of returning to Ireland.
But once she started playing music with Eddie in the United States, she decided to make her home right here in New England, where she remained for 25 years.
Currently residing just outside of Ashville, North Carolina, Aoife will reunite with Eddie “at home” for this rare performance at the museum.
Their wit and stage presence along with an eclectic blend of Celtic, Americano, and original material promises to be an evening of entertainment not to be missed.
