The music is a get-up-and-dance mix of blues, pop, bluegrass, acoustic folk, country, Chuck Berry-style rock ‘n’ roll and Harry Belafonte-esque tropical sounds, tied together with Vanessa Trien’s clear, lyrical, easy-to-sing-along-with voice and creative lyrics that go right to the heart of children’s imaginations. Vanessa’s CD, Hot Air Balloon, won three awards in 2006 from various parents’ associations.
Admission is $5 and benefits the scholarship fund. Tickets must be purchased in person at BMS office and will not be available at performance day. For more information, call 617-277-4593.
