This is a fully staged double bill of two rarely performed Baroque gems, performed with a chamber orchestra!This show offers a fun and relatable perspective on the joys and stresses of everyday life and they're set in a coffee shop.
Unlike other performances that are traditionally staged in a concert setting, these two cantatas are in a more informal setting, with humorous scenarios.
One is about bored employees killing time with an intense game of Uno.
The other is about a father and daughter in a cafe debating if she should stop drinking coffee.
There's lots of laughs and da capo arias -- and it's a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
Reception on the Patio follows the Concert, weather permitting.
