The Northshore Youth Symphony Orchestra, Inc (NYSO) is an exciting and rapidly growing musical organization providing a home for over 275 young musicians from 39 different North Shore, Merrimack Valley; and southern New Hampshire communities. NYSO provides many music ensembles for students ages 6 - 18: Senior Orchestra, Advanced Wind Ensemble, NYSO Chorale, Intermezzo Orchestra, two Prelude String Ensembles, flute choirs and a clarinet choir.

NYSO is dedicated to a program of excellence that combines a comprehensive, multi-level music education, high quality performances and extensive opportunities for community service through our outreach program, “Youth Serving through Music,” through which we provide ten or more concerts for those who are unable to attend concerts at major venues.
