Summer evenings are a perfect time to visit the Concord Museum. And this particular summer evening is well-suited for summer relaxation with live swing music on the lawn and free museum admission. Pack up a picnic and your blanket, gather family, friends or out of town guests and come to the Museum’s front lawn for a free evening of swing music from 6:00 – 8:00.

The Swing Legacy, a 6-piece band, acclaimed for its impeccable musicianship, presents the polish, heat, and energy of the renowned big bands of the swing era including Duke Ellington and Count Basie.

Be sure to spend some time this evening to linger in the Museum’s engaging history galleries and distinctive changing exhibitions, take in the quiet eloquence of the “Exploring Concord” film, and enjoy the historic beauty of period rooms filled with Concord antiques. Create your own memories with family-friendly, hands-on activities in the Museum.

Free Admission for all from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on this special Wednesday evening.
