The concert will benefit the non-profit Thoreau Society and its ongoing programs. It will be Guthrie’s only appearance near Boston this holiday season. The event has been planned close toThanksgiving, which has become indelibly marked by Guthrie’s acclaimed Alice’s Restaurant Massacree, now a holiday tradition.
